Meet Mayonaiser Yagira Yuya.

As a way to promote its popular Ippei-chan Yomise instant yakisoba product, Myojo Foods, a subsidiary of the instant noodle company Nissin Foods, has released an over-the-top “dance lesson” video starring Japanese actor Yuya Yagira as “Mayonaiser Yagira Yuya.”

Having made his debut in the critically-acclaimed 2004 Japanese film Nobody Knows, Yagira has come to be known for his impressive acting talents.  However, Myojo’s new video seems to want to make people believe that he isn’t just a good actor but also an amazing dancer.

Although Yagira can clearly be seen at a few different points in the video, the person on-screen during the dancing segments is not Yagira. It is American choreographer, dancer, singer-songwriter Jonte Moaning.

During the video Yagira can be heard sining “Mayo beam, bang! Deliciousness, boom! That’s Ippei-chan!” The “mayo beam” line, and Yagira’s title of “Mayonaiser” are both inspired by the mayonaise packet included in each Ippei-chan pack of instant yakisoba.

Check out the Mayonaiser in action in the video below.
