Japan: Leading the world in panty shot innovation.
Last week (Mar.27) a myseterious video featuring an anime high school girl with the unique ability to transform into a panty wearing, cleavage showing fighter jet popped up on YouTube and it’s already managed to get well over 300,000 views in less than a week.
This mysterious video is a short but very memorable preview for an upcoming anime property called Henkei Shojo (Transformation Girls). DLE, the production company behind this new anime, has yet to release much information about what exactly this show is about. However, DLE has shared a few details that seem to suggest that this video is the start of a months-long marketing campaign that will likely culminate in late summer/early fall of this year with the release of a Henkei Shojo anime and/or video game. Before we get into that though, let’s begin by taking a look at this very interesting video.
The name of this ‘transformation girl’ is Haru. According to the Henkei Shojo website she’s 16-years old, 159 cm tall and her body measurements are 80-60-83 (because that’s super important information). She often has to rush to school because she doesn’t like to wake up early, she’s often late, she’s forgetful and she likes rabbits. The video also makes it seem like she enjoys stealing hats. Oh, and she has the ability to transform into a fighter jet.

When in her fighter jet form, Haru retains many aspects of her human form. Her coloring scheme is the same as her school uniform. Her tail-end retains design aspects of her schoolgirl skirt. Her thrusters come out of her shoes. These are all design choices which, for the most part, make sense, given the context. However, there are a couple other design elements that don’t seem quite as logical..

Just in case you missed it in the video, above you can see a screenshot of Haru’s ‘cleavage’ and at the top of the page you can see a shot of Haru’s rear that gives you a peek at Haru’s striped panties. Definitely an innovative way to provide viewers with a bit of fan service.
Although absolutely no details about the plot of Henkei Shojo have been revealed the official website does show off five of the ‘transformation girls,’ which presumably all possess the ability to change into sexualized vehicles and/or machines.

Each of the girls has a release date for when their profile/video is set to go up. The next video is scheduled to be released in May and it will be for a young girl named Rin. You can already access her page, however, aside from some basic info such as height (148 cm), birthday (October 31st), a short self-introduction, a couple of pictures and, of course, her body measurements (75-57-80) there isn’t much else to see.
On Rin’s page there is also an announcement that she will be getting a “Fetish angle version” of her video, which heavily implies that this whole sexy machine panty shot angle seen in Haru’s video will be a constant throughout this series.
The last character profile is set to go up in August, which makes it likely that whatever the first product in the Henkei Shojo property to come out is (game, anime series, etc.), it will at the earliest be released in September of this year.
